For over two decades, I've dedicated my career to ensuring every child experiences the joy and power of learning from their very first moments through their educational journey. As Founder and CEO of Chatty Learners LLC, I bridge the gap between cutting-edge educational research and real-world classroom magic, helping educators, families, and communities create environments where all children can thrive.

I'm a lifelong educator and fierce advocate for early childhood development, driven by the belief that every child deserves a strong foundation during the brain's most critical years. Through workshops, play zones, mentoring, and real-world strategies, I empower parents, caregivers, educators and communities to harness the power of everyday moments to build connections inside and outside the brain.

From co-authoring North Dakota's groundbreaking Birth-12 literacy framework to training hundreds of educators across multiple states, I believe that when we invest in strong foundations—whether through early childhood development, meaningful play, or authentic family partnerships—we create lasting change that extends far beyond the classroom.
With certifications in LETRS, Reading Science, Active Parenting, Conscious Discipline, SEEDS, and Family Engagement, plus a Master's of Science in Reading Instruction I bring both heart and science to my work with a determination to inspire connections between loving family partnerships and rigorous, research-backed reading instruction for lasting educational impact.
Whether I'm leading statewide literacy initiatives, mentoring educators in research-based practices, empowering families and caregivers, fostering community connections, or advocating for policies that put children first, my work is driven by one unwavering belief: every child deserves access to joyful, engaging education that celebrates their potential and sets them up for legendary, lifelong success.
